Platform 1 – Latest News
GCRN and Rushcillfe Borough Council on behalf of the Rushcliffe Country Park have just completed a joint initiative to clear overhanging trees and branches from Platform 1. This will not only make Platform 1 safer and tidier for our customers but will also reduce maintenance time for our volunteer workforce.
Arthur Barber: Rest In Peace
The Trustees are sorry to report that one of the founder members of the Heritage Centre and one of our Trustees, Arthur Barber, passed away on 16th November. Ex-British Railways Steam Locomotive Fireman, Arthur was a true gentleman, lovely man and a friend to many. Thank you Arthur for all your contributions, help and advice.…
Hotchley Hill – Final Door Fitted
